| Dr Irene BROADLEY-WESTERDUIN, BSc, PGCE, MEd, MSc, PhD |
|
| Dr Irene Broadley, herself married with four sons, is a Chartered Educational Psychologist (registered with the British Psychological Society) with over 20 years experience in Psychology. In addition to her degree in Psychology, Irene has a PGCE, with experience in teaching a wide age and ability range of children with learning difficulties. Irene completed her Ph.D. in teaching visual memory skills at the University of Portsmouth; her research has been successfully replicated internationally. |

| As well as running her Educational Psychology practice, Irene is a Trustee and Director of Positive Parenting Publications, a registered charity committed to helping professionals and parents. She is actively involved in researching and delivering a wide range of workshops for teachers, parents and professionals on subjects ranging from emotional literacy, anger and behavior management, to developing learning programmes for children. Other specialist areas include developing memory skills in children and adults, which help reinforce positive aspects of childhood and remembering past events and the psychological importance of story-telling to develop understanding and comprehension skills. |

| Irene works with many Head teachers to help develop whole-school policies and interventions, running In-service training to address key educational issues. She also assesses adult literacy difficulties for University students and assessments for work-place learning. Irene lectures at various Universities in the United Kingdom and acts as a consultant for clients in Europe, Africa and Japan.
